| Los
Angeles, CA – January 2012 / Hospitality 1ST / LA
INC. The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau and American Express®
are excited to announce the restaurant lineup for dineLA
January 2012 Restaurant Week, January 22-27 and January 29-February
3, 2012. Celebrating the fifth year of the esteemed program, over 300 local
favorite eateries join together this season to provide the perfect reason
to eat, drink, and dineLA with lauded
newcomers such as Mercato di Vetro, Malibu & Vine, and il Covo joining
charter participating restaurants like Sushi Roku, Lawry’s the Prime Rib,
and Chinois on Main. Participating restaurants span the city from Manhattan
Beach to Pasadena, offering a range of dining options and price points
to accommodate every palate in Los Angeles.
“dineLA
is a great time for diners to try new restaurants in new parts of the city,”
notes the Spice Table Executive Chef/Owner Bryant Ng. “As a newcomer to
the Los Angeles restaurant community, we are excited to expose the Spice
Table to a larger audience through dineLA Restaurant Week this year.”
“As
a charter member of the program, we had the pleasure of hosting the first
Restaurant Week’s press event at Grace,” says Chef Neal Fraser of BLD and
Grace. “We were ready for Los Angeles to be taken seriously as a culinary
destination, and it is exciting to witness how the program and our restaurant
community have grown over the last five years.”
“Over
the five years that the dineLA program has been in place, Los Angeles’
culinary expansion has positioned the city as one of the world’s leading
dining centers,” says Mark Liberman, President and CEO of LA INC. “dineLA
Restaurant Week continues to provide the opportunity to explore unknown
neighborhoods and experience new foods at an unbeatable value. With new
restaurants joining the program, such as Ray’s & Stark Bar and Canter’s
Deli Fairfax, along with restaurants like Katsuya, and Valentino, which
have been part of the program since its inception, there seems to be no
end to the power of LA’s dining community.”
