celebrations. To uphold this tradition, this historic hotel is offering
a Romantic Rendezvous and Wedding Vow Renewal on Valentine’s Day weekend,
Feb. 10-12, 2012. As part of this special weekend getaway package, Hotel
Galvez invites couples to renew their commitment vows during an intimate
ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 as well as partake in Galveston’s
scheduled Mardi Gras festivities.
The
Hotel Galvez Romantic Rendezvous and Wedding Vow Renewal includes an ocean
view room for two, wedding vow renewal ceremony on Saturday morning, champagne
and keepsake glasses upon arrival, rose petals on the bed as part of the
hotel’s turndown service and breakfast in bed throughout the weekend. The
wedding vow ceremony will be officiated by an area Justice of the Peace.
Following the ceremony, couples are invited to enjoy a small reception
hosted by the hotel.
The
Romantic Rendezvous and Wedding Vow Renewal package, available Feb. 10-12,

a mass wedding vow renewal in February 2011 as part of its centennial celebration
and we are making this event an annual tradition.”
Since
this weekend coincides with Galveston’s Mardi Gras celebration, couples
will also receive two tickets to the Uptown Entertainment District each
day and round-trip transportation to the festivities. The beachfront location
of Hotel Galvez makes it a prime viewing spot for the Mystic Krewe of Aquarius
Mardi Gras Parade at noon and the Krewe of Gambrinus Parade at 6 p.m.,
also on Saturday, Feb. 11.
